Tom Waits Week: Things Get Weird (1983-1993)

Bone Machine (1992) – This album won Tom Waits his first Grammy, and was one of his biggest sellers. It’s where my fandom began and it changed the way I listened to music. I can not overemphasize the sheer impact this album had on me. Note that this album comes five years after Frank’s Wild Years, which is unprecedented in his career to this point.
