Paddy’s Pub Philadelphia, PA Once named “The worst bar in Philadelphia” by critic Lyle Corman, this reviewer sees no reason the change that appraisal. Should you actually want to go there, the hours of operation are inconsistent at best, with the bar often closing without warning. It’s not uncommon to see the place closed during its posted business hours with only a vague and misspelled sign taped to the door by way of explanation. If you manage to find one of those rare times when Paddy’s is open, you can expect indifference, or even hostility, from the staff. Female customers can expect to be harassed by at least one of the owners, male customers are likely to be challenged to a karate fight. It is, in every sense of the word, a hole. Zero Stars (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
The Regal Beagle!
You just heard two people simultaneously kicking themselves for forgetting that one…
DAMMIT!
Bob’s Burgers sells beer!
But I guess it wasn’t on the air yet when this was published. I just wanted to give the Belcher’s a shout out. (Also it’s a restaurant, not technically a bar)
They definitely would have made the list these days! It’s a weird detail that they rarely acknowledge, but it’s very funny that Bob has a liquor license.
