MacLaren’s Pub Manhattan, NY This established westside pub is always bustling with a diverse clientele, from college students to young thirty somethings. The atmosphere is casual, with a friendly and accommodating waitstaff. It can be tough to find a booth, though. There is a full menu beyond the usual bar fare, but MacLaren’s may be best known for its eleven deep fried appetizers. If you’re an even remotely attractive young woman, you might be accosted by a handsome man in a designer suit on any given night. Two and Half Stars (How I Met Your Mother)
