TV has been there throughout my life, and has played a big part in shaping my worldview. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s given me a window into worlds I know nothing about and kept me company when I was nursing infants at 4 am or feeling like crap. It has allowed me to be part of a bigger community and most of all, it has entertained me and enriched my life.
As for the people who say they never watch TV, that’s fine. In my humble opinion it’s as American as baseball and apple pie.
