Kaleidoscopic Raygun: Voter Fatigue

And that is the brilliance.

You can correct my history, but it seems to me since 1980, save for Bush, Part 1, we’ve never had one party controlling the Executive and Legislative branches for any longer than a couple years. And this saves us from ourselves – or at least, saves us from the morons in Washington. Election after election we seem to tire of the ruling party and we, the large chunk of us in the middle and not 100% lock-step with any particular party, send that party packing. Tomorrow it seems the Democrats will lose their control over the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. At the very least, they’ll lose their super-majority in the Senate, and quite a few Governorships across the country.
