Kris & Amanda
MYNDI--I’ll be honest, I didn’t remember these people. I saw the name Kris and thought of the female Kris, of Kris and Jon, who lost out to Freddy & Kendra back in season 6. I was excited about them coming back! These two, not so much. At the mention of Luke & Margie U-turning them, I had a vague recollection, and then remembered them one of those boring “babe” couples who looked like they were carved out of butter. Lame.
EJ--These two are definitely the Platonic Ideal of one of the Race archetypes. The couple who says “babe” all the time and hangs out in the middle of the pack, and even the home viewers can see that their relationship could collapse at any moment. I hardly remember them, but given that they came in 8th place, that’s not exactly a surprise.
