EJ–I don’t remember them being as volatile as their profile indicates. There’s a lot of talk about mood swings and lack of communication, but I though they did pretty well with one another. I totally forgot that they were the team who stopped on the way to the Pit Stop, which was one of the great bonehead moves of all time. I think they’re a good pick for the “Unfinished Business” season. They aren’t anybody’s favorite team, but everybody’s happy for them.
Margie & Luke MYNDI–Has anyone ever gone from being a sympathetic character to a villain so completely on this show? At first, you couldn’t help but be impressed by the courage and ambition it took for a deaf kid to run the race with his mom, but Luke’s attitude and Margie’s righteous indignation about it got old real fast. Luke’s shot at redemption would be to get people to not think he’s an a-hole.
