Natalie tells us she’s super-excited for her call from home, hoping it’s her dad or her boyfriend, speaking with her usual lack of any inflection in her voice to indicate said excitement. It’s Papa Nat, and he tells her that he and her boyfriend watch every episode together. Natalie cries and tells us that her dad is her only parental figure and she’s glad he’s proud of her. She’s also obviously happy that the boyfriend still loves her. Sidenote: I was pretty sure Natalie’s dad had a picture of Ricky & Lucy Ricardo in his cubicle at work. Upon further examination, I’m now fairly certain it’s just a young Papa Nat.
