Brendon’s POV speech doesn’t make any more sense the second time around. We’re really not dealing with the most gifted public speakers this year, are we? Ragan calls Brendon a “Neanderthal”. Britney calls him the “Spawn of Satan” among other things and says he has to leave the house.
Rachel weeps and says his speech is the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for her. “If giving up half a million dollars for someone you love is stupid, I guess I’m stupid.” Brendon DRs. Oy. Then, Rachel and Britney talk and Brit tells her that Brendon hates women. For her part, Rachel fake cries and tells us she has to pretend she was surprised by Brendon’s actions. Suffice it to say her acting is horrible. I’m not sure if Britney buys it, either, but we already know that any friendship she shows toward Rachel is pretty fake, too, so hopefully it’s neither here nor there.
