Matt is given the Pandora’s Box to open. His prize is the Diamond Power of Veto, but has to open Pandora’s Box to get it. He reasons out loud to no one that he’s worried the only stipulation would be that he couldn’t tell anyone why he took it and how that might screw up his game. Turns out the Diamond POV simply gives Matt the ability to save himself or someone else AND nominate a replacement at the next two evictions. So, he’s essentially HOH this week and next if he needs to be for his game. He just has to keep it secret. He’s cocky about it, but with reason, I suppose.
