Celebrity Apprentice Season 4 – “I Love Touching the Art”

In the ASAP van, Marlee talks about John being “the King of Nashville”, and if there’s a way to denote sarcasm in sign language, she’s totally doing it.  There’s a brief interview with Hope that achieves nothing but this is where I finally notice that she never looks at the camera.  She looks down all the time.  Stop judging her, camera!  She’s just trying to explain the task!  LaToya has one of Michael Jackson’s shirts.  Now, her explanation of this shirt is confusing – it seems to be a promo shirt for an event that was canceled because of his death, but it looks like it’s autographed, and why would she have her brother autograph a shirt?  Unless that’s printed on the shirt, and basically it’s just a rare unreleased shirt, like the “Dewey Defeats Truman” of t-shirts.  I think she’s making this harder than it needs to be.  She’s willing to have it framed and sell it at their gallery.  It’s very emotional – LaToya’s crying (which honestly, isn’t unusual), Marlee’s crying, and I feel like I shouldn’t be seeing this. (I believe LaToya said it was a promotional shirt for the “This Is It” tour, which is what he was preparing for when he died.  Maybe it was a prototype?–Myndi)
