I would also point out that the show itself is not entirely about fundraising. So far, it’s been two out of five tasks. The finale, while it usually contains a fundraising element, is never based on hard numbers. The first season had a lot of fundraising, but the last two have only see about a third of the tasks along those lines. So to make “access to rich people” the be-all and end-all of the decision is a little silly.
However, I think the women know that Richard is a smart guy who has some tricks up his sleeve. It’s much better for them if he goes home than, say, Busey. So when asked, the women single out Richard.
This was my favorite Recap so far! The others in the cyber cafe gave me weird looks as I was laughing.-
