Backbone gets together to brainstorm, and Busey says “I’m thinking of a clown on a bicycle that goes on a string across two points.” He’s not suggesting that as a piece for their gallery – it’s just literally the thing he is thinking of at that moment. Then he gives one of his Buseyisms for “art” (A Righteous Truth), and while I don’t want to make fun of the guy, I have to quote this. For added fun, imagine him saying this very slowly, never blinking or changing his expression until the end when he unrolls an unsettling smile.
“You need heart for the art, and the art brings the heart. Therefore they go together. In a wonderful way. In a composition. That embraces. The eyes. Of the viewer.”
