Over at ASAP, Marlee talks to her team like adults, which is a novel approach. Now, there are a lot things in this episode that I absolutely love, and one of them is this bit, where Marlee says she needs to raise a “(bleep)load of money”, and they not only bleep the word when Jack says it, but they also blur her hands when she signs it. Their bases are covered. She says they have to win this one, and they have to pull together if they’re going to shut down John Rich. She asks LaToya if she has something “from her family” that they could incorporate, and you know that’s just a nice way of saying “Do you have any of Michael’s stuff?” Because it’s not like she’s hoping LaToya will come back with, “Oh, Jermaine left his travel pillow last time he visited!” (But, what of Tito’s forgotten toothbrush? Surely that could fetch a tidy sum!–Myndi)
