Meat Loaf takes a stand, and says that putting the shot of the product in was part of the brand messaging, and that was Star’s job. See, you want to put yourself in charge of something that should actually be covered on the creative end and pretend that you’re contributing, it’s going to come back on you. Way to go, Meat Loaf! Star says that branding was her job, but selecting the shot wasn’t. Don Jr. calls her out on that and says that the box is part of the branding. Star says she’s the one who put in that last second announcement. She’s on the ropes all of a sudden! Star keeps saying that Meat Loaf didn’t want to use the shot of the box. Since we saw very little of the edit process, I don’t know how that played out, but I know Star was the one, during shooting, who said they could use the logo instead. What’s interesting is the way that Star really seems desperate here – she either knows she screwed up, or she can tell when Trump gets an idea in his head that will override any new information that might be presented. Trump dismisses everybody.
