Lisa leads off by saying that she won’t fight dirty. And that’s another Boardroom mistake. Has she seen this show? Trump pontificates about the difference between winning and losing, and how when you lose, you have to “pick up the chips”. I’m fairly certain that when you lose, they take your chips and leave you with nothing to pick up. Or is there some sort of game or sport where having chips is undesirable?
Lisa assures everybody that she’s tough, which is something that tough people rarely have to do. They just stab the alligator to death and move on. Lisa starts yelling at Star, complete with bleeped curses. Lisa’s making the mistake of trying to prove that Star is mean. Yeah, she is. Unfortunately, mean don’t get you fired. Trump keeps interrupting Lisa to tell her she’s not making her case very well. He is tossing out a life preserver and basically saying, “Shouldn’t you be emphasizing that Star wrote the book that they didn’t like?” Lisa says she’d fire Dionne, because she’s not a team player. You know what she should have said? “I had problems with both of them, but Star brings something to the table. Dionne hasn’t contributed anything substantial in the last two tasks.” Byoop. Point made. Lisa doesn’t do that, though. Trump is looking for a reason not to fire her, and Lisa is not providing anything. Finally, Trump puts this Boardroom out of its misery. Lisa, you’re fired.
