Everybody assembles in the lobby of Trump Tower. Trump fantastically leads by asking John and Marlee if they’ve ever heard of 7Up. Sadly, neither of them feign ignorance, which would have been really funny. He introduces 7Up’s marketing officer, Jim Trebilcock. Jim explains that 7Up is going retro for an old-school 7Up made with real sugar, celebrating their Uncola heritage. You know what? Real sugar makes soda taste weird. That’s how they make it in Europe, and if you’re used to the American formula and its various syrups and chemicals, European soda tastes kind of oily.
Jim wants them to design the 7Up retro packaging and display, write and produce a commercial, and put on a launch event. One of them will celebrate the 70s and work with the Harlem Globetrotters, the other will celebrate the 80s with Def Leppard. Then, Jim and CEO Larry Young will consult with Trump to pick the winner.
