Marlee gets to choose her decade. John is sure that she’ll pick the 80s and Def Leppard, because music is totally his thing and letting him have it will give him the advantage. He is forgetting that Marlee is deaf and not in the cool Leppard way. Naturally, she picks the 70s and the Globetrotters. John is baffled by this strategy, because he is not looking past the brim of his hat. John gets first pick when choosing teams, and he takes Lil Jon. Marlee picks Meat Loaf, who’s ideal for the 70s. She tells him not to cry. Hee. John picks Mark. Marlee takes Richard, and Star is pissed. Good choice, actually. Richard did a decent enough job on the show, other than the first episode. He’s a jerk as a Project Manager, but when other people took the lead, he contributed as much and possible and was a pretty good team player. He seems like a good guy to have on the team. John picks Star, and that means LaToya is the fat kid in gym class, ending up with Marlee.
