Star sets out making a schedule for John rather than contributing any ideas. He appoints Mark the “creative thinker energy guy”. Which is not a bad description, I guess. They come up with the slogan “Still Keeping it Real”. I think of that as being a much more recent expression, though. Was that a thing they said in the 80s? To me, that seems like something from the last fifteen years or so. But, you know, I’m sure probably somebody kept it real in the 80s. Berke Breathed, at the very least. Anyway, John thinks it’s a good hook, so they go with it.
