Ivanka visits Team Marlee. Meat Loaf calls her “dear”, and she does not freak out. She mentions that Meat Loaf got in trouble in the last Boardroom for taking over, and he insists that he didn’t and wants everybody in the room to agree that didn’t happen. I still love Meat Loaf, but his emotions are kind of a wild ride. Ivanka doesn’t seem to love the idea, but she likes the disco ball can much better when she sees the mock-up. They did a good job with the design.
She next visits Team John. John insists he’s a big Def Leppard fan – I find it interesting how a lot of NuCountry really seems rooted in arena rock rather than the old C&W style. If I knew what I was talking about, I’d write about that sometime. But I don’t, so I won’t. Ivanka seems to like what they’re doing.
