Still, Piers and Joan react like he threw in the towel. Piers even calls him a loser. Lil Jon is totally out now, because nobody affiliated with this show can appreciate subtle distinctions between two things. The rest of this is just formality. He acknowledges that Meat Loaf doesn’t cry all the time, which is pretty funny. Lil Jon says he wants to win the show and also improve the image of rappers. I actually thought this was ridiculous at first because this is 2011. Then FOX News spent all week freaking out after Common read poetry at the White House, so clearly there’s still this perception that every rapper and hip-hop artist wrote “Cop Killer” and glamorizes thug life. Lil Jon knows the score better than I do, which should not surprise anybody.
