LaToya interviews about how it’s impossible for her to succeed, even though her job just got a heck of a lot easier. NeNe interviews about how LaToya will play this in the Boardroom, and does an impression of her “twelve-year-old voice”. Hope talks LaToya off the ledge, and it seems to work pretty well.
It turns out, all of Backbone goes to the test kitchen, so everybody gets exactly the same dose of Busey. He comes up with the idea to call their variety pack “The Omaha Steak Variety Pack”. His next suggestion is “Multi-Flavored Steaks Pack”, and the Jo(h)ns try in vain to hide their laughter. Meat Loaf struggles to explain that there’s no such thing as “multi-flavored steaks”. Busey clarifies that he meant “a different steak with different flavors”. Remember, Trump thinks he might be a genius! Meat Loaf explains that flavored steaks aren’t a real thing. “So the question is, will Omaha Steaks manufacture, for you, steaks with seasoning on them that they can send anywhere in the world. That’s your question?” The Jo(h)ns leave Meat Loaf alone to try and get this ship righted. Meat Loaf bets Busey eighteen million dollars that Omaha Steaks won’t switch up their production line for him. Meat Loaf finally says to toss a bunch of stuff in and call it the “Ultimate Celebration”.
You could tell, even after the entire project crashed and burned, Trump didn’t want to send Busey home because the show is less entertaining without him.
See, I disagree. Trump only thinks the show is less entertaining, but I was so much more relaxed watching this week without his crazy ass invading the personal space of everyone he came in contact with.
Yeah, it was definitely more entertaining to watch without Busey — not only did he make me uncomfortable, but he was leeching screen time from everybody else. We don’t really know much about how the various people interact with one another, because the editing was so Busey-focused. I think I would have been happier if he just popped up once every episode to say something crazy and then moved on.
