Celebrity Apprentice Season Four – “Kaboy”

LaToya shows up at AIDS Project L.A., where they provide food for people with HIV and AIDS.  She presents both checks from last week, as well as her reward for the best hat.  The guy representing her charity looks like Ed Begley Jr.  Do you think all the people who got $20,000 are watching this season and saying “Marlee Matlin made how much?”  What’s very funny to me is that LaToya walks out with a bag of groceries.  Sure, she just gave them $65,000, but this is a charity kitchen!  That’s not your food!

The retarded baby ducklings gather at Trump Tower, outside the Trump Tower Grill.  Sidenote:  Do you want to eat at Donald Trump’s restaurant?  I didn’t think so.  His introduction is hella awkward, as he talks up his restaurant until he basically says “But if you can’t make it, you can order from our sponsor.  That’s OK, I guess.”  The company in question is Omaha Steaks.  They claim to be the best known brand of beef in America, which might be true, if only because I can’t think of any brands of beef.  And I eat Ron Swanson amounts of red meat.  The teams are going to write, produce, and perform a live cooking demonstration.  Each team will create three occasion-specific meals, and then be creating and naming an Omaha Steaks variety pack.

  1. You could tell, even after the entire project crashed and burned, Trump didn’t want to send Busey home because the show is less entertaining without him.

  2. See, I disagree. Trump only thinks the show is less entertaining, but I was so much more relaxed watching this week without his crazy ass invading the personal space of everyone he came in contact with.

  3. Yeah, it was definitely more entertaining to watch without Busey — not only did he make me uncomfortable, but he was leeching screen time from everybody else. We don’t really know much about how the various people interact with one another, because the editing was so Busey-focused. I think I would have been happier if he just popped up once every episode to say something crazy and then moved on.
