Trump talks about how Backbone is falling apart, while ASAP really seems unified. He keeps it weird by asking LaToya if she’s made any friends for life on the show, and then to name them. She carefully identifies everybody except NeNe. You know, there are some weeks when they somehow manage not to cover important information that we need to know, and some weeks when they’re just scrambling to fill two hours. This week is definitely the latter.
Don Jr. talks about ASAP’s performance – they liked the aprons, they liked Poker Night, they liked Star’s healthy dish. They didn’t like the “Omaha” gaffe, and they wished there was more live cooking. Don Jr. is reiterating what they said to Trump in a previous scene. I used to recap Lost, you know. I can keep up with the presentation of information without it being restated over and over again. Sigh. What have I become?
You could tell, even after the entire project crashed and burned, Trump didn’t want to send Busey home because the show is less entertaining without him.
See, I disagree. Trump only thinks the show is less entertaining, but I was so much more relaxed watching this week without his crazy ass invading the personal space of everyone he came in contact with.
Yeah, it was definitely more entertaining to watch without Busey — not only did he make me uncomfortable, but he was leeching screen time from everybody else. We don’t really know much about how the various people interact with one another, because the editing was so Busey-focused. I think I would have been happier if he just popped up once every episode to say something crazy and then moved on.
