Celebrity Apprentice Season Four – “Kaboy”

Meat Loaf names Busey as the project manager so fast that his pointing hand should be accompanied by a comical sound effect.  Ideally, anything from Scrubs’ “Dr. Cox Points at Somebody” sound cart should do just fine.  Trump tells the executives that Busey is “either a genius or a moron”.  Genius?  I’m sorry, did he cure something when I wasn’t looking?  Trump asks if Lil Jon has figured it out yet, and he only answers with “Yes, I have”.  Hee!  Don Jr., while everybody laughs, asks Lil Jon which it is.  Sigh.  Don Jr. can never just let a joke be – he has to add his own follow-up that makes the original joke less funny, or indicates that he doesn’t know why everybody is laughing.  Don Jr. is that guy in your office who still quotes Austin Powers.

  1. You could tell, even after the entire project crashed and burned, Trump didn’t want to send Busey home because the show is less entertaining without him.

  2. See, I disagree. Trump only thinks the show is less entertaining, but I was so much more relaxed watching this week without his crazy ass invading the personal space of everyone he came in contact with.

  3. Yeah, it was definitely more entertaining to watch without Busey — not only did he make me uncomfortable, but he was leeching screen time from everybody else. We don’t really know much about how the various people interact with one another, because the editing was so Busey-focused. I think I would have been happier if he just popped up once every episode to say something crazy and then moved on.
