Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas (33/40 – 57 Total) – Bristol acknowledges that her family is very different from the Osbournes. I feel like there’s a Sarah Palin / Sharon comparison that I could make, but it’ll only get me in trouble. This one really suffers if you know the original – Kelly brought this real emotion to it, while Bristol’s trying to take over for Audrina in the emotionless department. It’s an average dance, but if you compare it to Kelly’s it’s just not in the same league at all.
Carrie Ann says that she connects with Bristol emotionally, but she’s still detached. Which is very contradictory. Kelly gushes praise, because she’s nice and you knew she would. Len says they lack chemistry, but the footwork was good. Bruno says basically the same thing, but takes longer to say it. They get a 33, which seems a little high to me, partly because of how much I love the original.
