Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer (35/40 – 59 Total) – They’re pretty intimidated by this dance, since Kyle is not aggressive. He draws abs on himself, which is pretty funny. The problem is, the dance was designed to show off Mel B, so the dance is more Lacey-centric. (And I don’t think she pulls it off like Mel did, actually.) It’s OK, but Kyle’s footwork is a little clumsy, and it feels like we’re watching the kids’ version of the original. It’s good overall, but the existence of the original is not doing them any favors.
Len says it was Kyle’s best dance. Mel calls it “amazing”. Bruno things he needs to work on his shoulders. Carrie Ann loved it. I really don’t think it was a patch on the original, as British people say. But I am not a judge. They get a 35 from the four judges, including a 10 from Mel B.
