I know this, and yet I continue to try my luck. Because even when TV-themed games suck, there’s something cool about them. The Sopranos: Road to Respect is not a good game. The gameplay is terrible, the graphics are subpar, and the story is a mess. And yet, I love it. Controlling a character who can walk around in the Bada Bing and interact with a James Gandolfini-voiced Tony Soprano. Even if the combat controls are so sloppy that you’ll get stabbed to death while you punch in the wrong direction over and over, that’s still awesome. And don’t even get me started on Lost: Via Domus, which consists mostly of walking around and occasionally getting killed by Smokey. I still get to visit Sawyer and trade water bottles for flashlight batteries. (And don’t even get me started on finding Radzinksy’s journal…)
