We’re teased with the arrival of “Clorky” as we head to break, and they stage this uncomfortable almost kiss thing that I watched through my fingers. When we come back to get Toni and Alec’s scores, Sam asks Alec about the four new dances being introduced to the competition next week. Alec is hoping to get West Coast Swing, should they stay. More about that subject later. They get 7’s from Carrie Anne and Len and an 8 from Bruno for a 22. They’re happy with it.
Well, here we go with Cloris. Corky says they have to find a balance between entertainment and good dancing or “we’ll get the boot”. As Cloris toils in rehearsal, actually focusing and being quite serious, her family, including her adorable great-grandson, show up to cheer her on. It’s nice to see, and reminds us all why Cloris is kind of awesome, even when she’s not being a good dancer. The woman is 82!!
