As their tango begins, I note that her dress is actually flattering for the first time. One less distraction. The dance is slow and steady, but that works for the tango. Corky actually gets her leg damn close to 90 degrees on two occasions and the performance earns a standing O. Cloris goes over a young boy with a cute mohawk and asks him if he liked it. He nods and says yes. Len says he wouldn’t believe it if he hadn’t seen it. He said she excelled at acting the dance and was “raunchy”. Right now, that’s good. Bruno says she was “The Grand Duchess in Lust.” He comments on her leg extension, which she displays again. Tom says she looks like a sundial. Hee! Carrie Ann says she owes Cloris an apology. Cloris comes up to the table, and Carrie Ann says she’s blocking her camera. Ha! She continues that she assumed Cloris was going to just go for the quick jokes, and Cloris interrupts with, “We did. Did you miss it?” Carrie Ann tries, “You pushed yourselves to the edge…” Cloris: “No we didn’t”. Ah, to have no filter. I can’t wait to be 82. Backstage, they actually get an 8 from Carrie Ann and 7’s from the guys for a 22! Cloris was expecting three 8s, however, and deadpans, “they’re prejudiced!” Samantha doesn’t know what to do, as usual.
