Clearly, those judges haven’t really liked Lacey from the get-go last season and that, coupled with the fact that she was giving very difficult choreography to a beginner (daredevil though he may be), clearly has her in the permanent doghouse with Len, Bruno and Carrie Ann. But obviously (and this is my pure speculation), the powers that be like the tension and drama this all creates. Tom jokes about Lacey being the “voice of caution” and the audience chuckles.
