Since we all kind of know that no one is going home, we get another chunk of filler that tells us about all the “paramedic activity” in the ballroom of late. Derek apparently has nicknamed a section of the floor “The Bermuda Triangle” since that’s where he hit his head, Susan rolled her ankle and Misty had her injury in the last week. Tom and Samantha steer clear of that area. Karina and Tony separately inform us that dance is contact sport, dammit! We’re reminded that Derek’s had two neck injuries in as many seasons. We revisit Misty’s injury for the zillionth time, and we see that Maks was in more shock than anything else. The capper of the package is that you’ve gotta go big or go home. Yay show! Afterwards, Tom says that’s why he’s the host, since “there are very few hosting injuries, if you’re not counting the Emmys.”
