Next up are Mitchell who is 12 and Maria who is 13. They’ve been together since the age of 6, when precocious is still cute. They say they’re “super dedicated”, to the point where Mitchell evidently plays soccer in his dance outfit. They live in Philadelphia, so they shoot some footage outside the courthouse and talk about Rocky, as is required by some sort of city ordinance. They are going to do the Paso Doble, but Mitchell looks like he’s on the set of Saturday Night Fever. They’re good, a little more proportionate than the first kids, and a bit more polished. They do however make odd expressions and lack a little exuberance. Then again, it’s the Paso. Carrie Ann says they had fluidity and power and that Mitchell is an incredible lead. Len says they made “beautiful shapes” while Carrie Ann gives the thumbs up some more. Bruno says it had power, attack and a high degree of sophistication. He says “you were born in Spain! Born to rule!” Bruno needs some sleep.
