The dance begins, and it’s lit is such a way that the entire thing looks black and white. A tap dancing duo, a la the Nicholas Brothers, start things off nicely. This segues into a section with a faux James Brown dancing in front of brightly hued curtains to “Superbad”. A crowd has formed on the floor. All too quickly, the scene changes again to a bunch of scaffoldings and all I could think of was the “Cold Hearted Snake” video, which makes me sad for myself. There are some awesome breakdancing moves here, and my favorite is the guy who spins himself on one hand and sort of jumps like a frog.
