Anna and Evan quickstep to “I Want You to Want Me” and it’s lovely, even if it’s not as scorching as Nicole & Derek. Carrie Ann says Evan’s won everyone’s hearts and the guys give him big kudos for all his hard work and improvement as well. Evan interviews that he’d do it all over again. He seems to truly enjoy Anna. They get a 28 (Carrie Ann gave them a 10) and they end up with 108 points. Will it be enough, people?!!
The mirrorball is center stage. It all comes down to this…the winners of Season 10 are Nicole & Derek! Girlfriend is stoked. She screams her head off as she hugs Derek. Evan has the perfect Olympic-quality consolation speech and Anna is bummed about 2nd place again, not that she says that out loud. Of course, Mark Ballas has to get involved by hoisting Derek up on his shoulders. I like when Kate comes over to hug Nicole and, although she can’t get away free and clear, Nicole is doing all she can to end the embrace quickly.
