Dancing with the Stars – Season 11, Performance Week 2

Rick Fox and Cheryl (21/30)—Rick evidently left basketball due to a ligament rupturing in his foot rather than, ya know, retiring. This also makes it challenging to dance, as you might imagine. They have the jive and it’s to “Tush”, which give Rick the chance to be slick and Cheryl the chance to wear undies with the word “Tush” emblazoned on them. The routine is very carefully measured and paced and clearly designed to allow for Rick’s injury. All things considered though, he performed nicely. Len liked the energy and says his ability to pull off a dance that’s tough for a tall guy, especially this early on, makes him a contender. Bruno compares the duo a California Condor and a hummingbird. Carrie Ann throws some cold water on the proceedings by saying she liked his waltz better.
