Florence Henderson and Corky (19/30) –Florence has a chip on her shoulder about being the “older comic relief”. She’s pretty determined to be a contender here. Their quickstep wasn’t the most exciting thing you’ll ever see (especially with ol’ Corky pulling wacky faces the whole time) but she did well and there was a lot of showmanship. Is it weird that I got a tiny bit emotional that Susan Olsen (Cindy) was there in the audience? Bruno likens it to “Driving Miss Daisy” at times, but says it was lovely at times as well. Carrie Ann says the dance suited her; it was light and elegant. Len does a whole spiel about simply judging the dance itself, with no outside factors like age, saying, based on that alone, he’ll see her next week.
