Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke (24/30) – Something tells me Cheryl’s uniform is not regulation. Oh man, it would be awesome if they actually did the theme to Oz, since Rick used to be on that show. Alas, it’s actually the theme to Hill Street Blues. Rick thinks Cheryl is frustrated that he’s not learning faster, which somehow leads to him introducing her to Kobe. They’re dancing the Rumba, and I am completely distracted by Cheryl’s lack of coverage. It’s quite good, but it’s such a weird match for the music, and Rick’s cop uniform somehow makes him look even bigger than he usually does, which is not what they’re going for. There are some really cool moves here, though. Carrie Ann hits on Rick. Len thinks he has “musical arms”, but didn’t see the romance – “it was more like a couple staying together for the sake of the children”. Hey, leave my parents out of this! Bruno thought he was mega-smooth. It’s a 24 for Rick!
For the record, Maurice Greene is not dead. I don’t know why I threw the word “Memorial” in there….
