Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With the Stars-Season 11, Performance, Week 5

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani (23/30) – Dancing to the theme from The Hills, which I will guarantee you I have never heard before. (Sigh.  It’s a song called “Unwritten” and was an actual hit for Natasha Bedingfield before it became a theme song.  Still, to even mention show amongst any of these others is criminal.–Myndi) For reasons that don’t completely make sense, Tony has her eat an onion like an apple, which seems like the kind of prank Jim Halpert would play on Creed.  Their dance is the Rumba, and this is not a catchy theme song.  This is one of those dances that I can’t necessarily identify at first sight – the Rumba is really abstract for me.  I feel like this isn’t as much fun as what we’ve been seeing tonight, but it’s actually quite good.  She’s really good with her extensions and holds.  Len thinks she looks intimidated, but it was a very good job.  Bruno says she tried hard, but lacked passion.  Carrie Ann says she’s good from the hips down, but she’s a little disjointed.  Also, maybe there was a lift.  Tony denies it, because he’s been down this road before.  She gets a 23, which ain’t too shabby.

  1. For the record, Maurice Greene is not dead. I don’t know why I threw the word “Memorial” in there….
