Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With the Stars-Season 11, Performance, Week 5

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas (21/30) – You will not be surprised that they have the theme from The Brady Bunch.  By the way, despite my TV background, I have never seen an entire episode of that show.  That always blows Myndi’s mind.  Anyway, Barry Williams swings by rehearsal, and Florence gets a little creepy talking about whether or not they had a relationship back in the day.  I feel like that’s been all but confirmed, but I don’t want to think about it.  Their dance is the Tango, and once again, Florence starts out alone on the floor, then Corky comes up behind her and strips off her housecoat to reveal a shiny dress.  I’m not loving the tango, though – there’s no real drive to it.  I feel like there should be more drama to it.  You shouldn’t be grinning during a tango.  It’s cute, but I feel like it was lacking as an actual dance.  Bruno thinks she went into “rag doll” mode and thinks she could have done something great.  Carrie Ann really liked it, but thought their timing was off.  Florence kisses Len, and he says it was her best dance yet.  She gets the Maurice Greene Memorial score of 21. (Crap, did Maurice die?!–Myndi)

  1. For the record, Maurice Greene is not dead. I don’t know why I threw the word “Memorial” in there….
