Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas (18/30) – They’re dancing to the theme from The Monkees. In gorilla suits. Man, she is committed to the “not being sexy” thing. Oddly, Mark thinks The Monkees is “English-style humor”. In the sense that the language spoken in the show was English, I guess. It’s a Jive, and they really are starting out in the suits. Not a good move, because Bristol is crazy awkward in the bulky suit. They finally strip off the fur, and it doesn’t really get better. Bristol’s feet aren’t doing anything similar to what Mark’s are. She’s really lifeless here. Len liked the monkey suits, and thought they did an OK job. Bruno thought it wasn’t sharp and she lost the timing. Carrie Ann really liked it, but says Bristol forgot a lot of the moves. That’s kind of… odd. “You forgot the steps, but it was good!” She gets the Score of the Beast once again, three 6’s for an 18. For the record, Maurice Greene is not dead. I don’t know why I threw the word “Memorial” in there….
