Rick Fox & Cheryl (24+ 6=30) Rick’s grey mohawk and vest with tails are freaking me out. His attempt to look intense for the Tango results in a very angry frown. To me, this looks slower than it should be and Rick is resembling Lurch. Len enjoyed the hold and posture. Bruno was hoping for a bit more “light and shade”, which is a good way to put it. Carrie Ann thought it was well-balanced, but didn’t like his facial expression. Eh, what do I know, right?
Jennifer Grey & Derek (20 +9=29) The way the band massacres “So What?” by Pink is very distracting, and both Jennifer and Derek seem affected, because each of them almost fall down near the end. It was erratic to say the least. Carrie Ann tells her she needs to calm down and learn her limits. Len liked the attack and aggression, but agrees she lost control. Bruno flails about and says her nervous breakdown style adversely affected the quality of the routine. Derek takes all the blame. Brooke tries to ask them what went wrong and Jen has no answer.
