There were successful parts and parts where she was completely in her head and froze up for a count or two. Bruno likes it, but wants her to work on her core strength. Sugar Ray Leonard & Anna (17/30; 34/60)–Jive–Off the top, Ray’s improvising a lot. He’s pulling faces and hamming it up because he’s not so much with the steps. Plus, did we notice last week how crazy pigeon-toed he was? He’s sort of ageless and adorable, but it wasn’t a technical masterpiece. Len says it lack refinement and dance quality. Bruno says it was soft around the edges, pointing out that the kicks and flicks were too loose. Carrie Ann and her weird hand jewelry wishes he were more precise.
