Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin (25/30) – She struggled with the Jive last week, probably as the result of multiple fractures to her pelvis. She picks “You Raise Me Up”, which she listened to when she went back to Thailand after the tsunami. She wants the dance to be angelic and hopeful. I really like her – she seems like a real sweetheart.
Their Dance is a Waltz, which I think suits her strengths. She really can cut an impressive line. Dmitry is pushing her around the dance floor a bit much, and there are a few minor stumbles. But her posture is impeccable, and there’s a really lovely fluidity at times. It’s flawed, but I like it quite a bit. Good job, Petra!
