Oh God, there’s a picture of his mom on the stage. The tears are coming now. The dance is a Rumba, which is one of those dances I can’t get a handle on. It’s always slower than I think it’s supposed to be. This one’s more about the lines than the footwork, but he strikes some really well-executed poses. The dance doesn’t cover much ground, but the emotion is there – it’s more about feeling than flash, and you can tell he’s really connected. It’s kind of lovely, actually.
Carrie Ann cries, and calls it a beautiful tribute. And then criticizes his hip action. Len says he didn’t use his arms and wasn’t fluid, and Jericho is practically crying, but Len continues. He does say the poses were excellent. Just like I did! Bruno love the emotion, but says he has to link the lines. He also says “Roomba”, which makes me think of the robot vacuum cleaner. (And Tom Haverford!–Myndi) He gets trip 7’s for a 21.
