Kirstie Alley–The Fat Actress star looked great at the press conference! She may not be Wrath of Khan skinny, but
she’s been doing something right. She did complain about the “hard” questions at the presser though, which were in fact, the opposite. Hopefully, she can just relax and have fun, although this could be a tall order with Maks as a partner. He could stress out Mother Teresa. I can definitely see the show becoming a kind of therapy for Kirstie, like it did for Margaret Cho. If she can control the edit somehow and we can get the good stuff, it’ll help her get votes. If she gets the hot mess edit, however, she won’t last. (MW)
Even though I didn’t know half the celebs for Season 12 of DWTS, I’ve been pleasantly surprised (so far) by this cast. This could, actually, be a fun season. (Hallelujah!) No faves at this point. I’m keeping an open mind and looking forward to seeing what each couple brings to the floor on March 21.
I’m kind of disappointed there’s no ringer! You knew Nicole Scherzinger, Brandy, Evan Lysacek, Melissa Rycroft, etc would be awesome. But nobody here is giving me “I’M AN AMAZING DANCER” vibes.
