It’s the Finals! Can you believe we won’t be seeing Bruno flail around and thrust his crotch in the general direction of unsuspecting contestants until September? Yeah, it’s probably time for a break. Let’s go by round tonight to see how our three remaining couples did.
Judges’ Choice Round
Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas–Carrie Ann gave them pointers for reprising their samba, which they first did back in America-themed week. Which makes me think of Kendra and “Yankee Doodle Dandy”. Blech. Anyway, Mark does a much better job of featuring Chelsea this time and the dance is pretty much perfect. Len plans to stalk Chelsea, apparently, since he quoted the lyrics to “Every Breath You Take” to her. (I remember Sting being interviewed over the years and saying he was always amazed when people would tell him that was their wedding song. People are not very smart, are they?) Bruno gesticulated wildly, which of course generally signals his approval. Carrie Ann thought she got down and dirty.and it worked. (29/30)
