Hines Ward and Kym Johnson– We got to see the vaunted DANCMSTR license plate! I feel like it’s been a long time. And Len used a smartphone in the car to watch Hines’ first quickstep! Impressive, senior citizen! During the routine, Hines appeared slightly pigeon-toed to me, but really, that’s the only thing you can say is off whatsoever. They’re in perfect unison and the routine was just charming, ending with a champagne cork popping. Does it seem mean to make Kym do the style that requires you to constantly turn your neck sharply back and forth this week? Carrie Ann said she forgot she was judging, it was so good. Len thought the routine was better, but not there yet. Lynn Swann and Franco Harris disagree, and you really don’t want to piss off Franco. Lynn Swann is less scary, for sure. Bruno thought it resembled a Broadway production and loved how Hines connected with the audience. (29/30)
