Dancing with the Stars: Season 9, Performance Week 7

Michael Irvin and New Anna (23 + 24 = 47) – We’re reminded that the judges saved them after their Dance Off, and Michael is pretty excited about it.New Anna wants him to bring his touchdown celebration energy to their Foxtrot.She’s impressed by his wide stance, and that’s about it for this clip package.

Their Foxtrot is actually really nice.It’s sort of by-the-numbers, like what you’d learn from a dance class, but his footwork is markedly better, I think he and Anna are in step quite well, and his energy level is good.Plus, he’s just beaming.I think Michael really likes doing this show, because he seems so darn happy every time he gets on stage.It’s not a dance I will necessarily remember tomorrow, but it was nice and fun to watch.
