Dancing with the Stars: Season Eight, Performance Week Two (Mar 17)

Apparently there’s a contingency plan. That’s right, after all the injuries of the last few seasons, they’re ready for anything. Our votes and the judges’ scores will be based on dress rehearsal. You mean, when he hurt himself? Oh dear.

They even have fake judges at the judges’ table for the dress rehearsal. I honestly can’t tell what dance they’re doing, since it’s all jumps and stunts. Frankly, it’s pretty irritating. Lacey got on my nerves with the gimmicks last season, and Steve-O just exacerbates it. Anyway, he ends with a no-handed cartwheel, and comes right down on his back. Now, why would you do that if your back’s giving you trouble? And why when there’s an unyielding box of plastic and metal at the base of your spine? I mean, duh.
